- A-: Adriano is a pleasure to work with. We spent a lot of time in between the church and reception taking pictures in Boston. At one point, we left the group and walked around through Faneuil Hall and down to Rowes Wharf to take pictures. Adriano was very quick; we ended up arriving at our reception about 45 minutes early! I do wish that we had more pictures of some of the amenities we provided for the guests, such as the candy buffet. Adriano already has our proofs up on his website and we should receive the paper proofs in a few days. Amazing turn around time, his work is fantastic.

- A+: I just got my pro pics! My photog lives near my office so she dropped everything off after lunch. It was all boxed up and wrapped in paper matching my wedding colors, with two Kolo albums full of proofs, CD's with the high-res image, and an adorable tiny album with seven of the best photos that she threw in as a gift. The online slideshow should be available later today. I'm really pleased with how everything turned out.

- A+: Let me start by saying.... they were so amazing that by the time my DH and I got to the head table following introductions, there were four framed WEDDING photos sitting at our placesetting for us. Yep, photos they just took of us! They actually brought a printer with them, printed out digital photos and put them in frames as a gift to us so they would be at our table when we sat down for dinner. I could not believe it. Armand, his wife Dolores and their grandson photographer-in-training were AMAZING. On time, sweet and funny, taking pics everywhere. They weren't in your face, they got the job done quickly and they made me laugh when I was crying. They made me feel like family, and made me smile when I was stressed out about pictures. I really hate, hate, hate having my pic taken. I don't take good pics. But they were amazing. Honestly, I could not have dreamed up better photographers.

- These photographers were amazing! They met us at our "new" location that we got ready at (due to the outage) and helped us out with whatever we needed while taking some great pictures!! They were right there for everything!! With the time shortened to due to starting later, I believe they still got some great pictures!! Plus they even stayed after the wedding to take some more of my husband and I. I haven't seen our photos yet (but our friends used them the month before and they came out amazing). I would highly recommend them to anyone!! Everyone commented on how great they were!!

- Ann was the sweetest woman who made sure that the groom and I were comfortable the entire event. We told her we wanted to make it to part of the cocktail hour even though we were having our formal pictures done then. She was so organized since she had made sure to come to the rehearsal and scout out the best photo locations that we actually got our formals done in half an hour! She even sent us a quick few photos the very next day and the photographs were lovely.

- Working with Audrey was a total nightmare. She showed up to my wedding wearing jeans, did not take ownership of her responsibilites (ie-telling people what to do/where to stand/fun ideas), she did not take any family photos of my family or my husbands, and when I emailed her and asked her why, she used a very bad excuse that she was downstairs scoping the place for photo ops. The worst part of all of this was just the process of TRYING to get my photos after the wedding. After 2 months of emailing and what felt like practically begging, and many many excuses on Her behalf (Sick, Sick, Computer crashed, family issues) My photos finally went online. Unedited, Dark, and just not good.

Both photographers were wonderful to work with! I certainly didn't mind not meeting them face to face b/c I spoke w/ my main photographer a ton before the wedding and she knew what I was looking for!! The only thing I'm kind of disappointed about is that we didn't take lots of goofy pictures b/c we wanted to enjoy the reception!

- A+: Keith Berry lives up to all of the hype and expectations on this board. He is truly amazing and has such a wonderful personality. I couldn't be happier with our pictures. Keith is the perfect balance of traditional and journalistic. He arrives early and isn't a burden at all. He was everywhere and got every picture I wanted. He is also great at the "detail" shots which I will treasure forever. We have awesome pictures of our place cards, candy buffet, chair covers, flowers, etc. I worked so hard on all of the planning details, and I am so happy to have amazing pictures of everything. An example of how Keith goes above and beyond: During our formal photos, DH was STARVING and we kept hearing about how delicious the apps were from the wedding party. Keith could tell that we were hungry and went to get us both some apps. He fed my DH mac and cheese so he wouldn't get it on his tux (yes, we served mac and cheese in martini glasses during cocktail hour!). Satyan was thrilled and Keith got a kick out of it. Keith is truly the best and any bride who can reserve him is lucky to have him!

- A+: Keith made the entire day run smooth. Always on a time check. And we weren't pressed on time at all. Which was wonderful. We were relaxed the entire time, and joking around for most of the photos. He was very creative and took the 3 must takes I wanted. The guests and bridal party loved his personality so it made it much easier through out the entire day.

- He was amazing. He showed up promptly. Took hundreds of pictures and made sure he got every picture that I had listed! He worked his butt off. I give him a A++

- A+: Better than words can describe...over 1300 pictures and only a few I dont' like in the whole bunch (eyes shut which can be photoshopped). Look under wedding albums Cheryl and Nelson if you would like to see the pics for yourself. Highly recommend Keith, worth every penny spent.

- A+: I found Bharat on boston.com and I don't have one bad thing to say about him. As soon as I sat down with Bharat, I knew he was our photographer. His work speaks for itself but his personality was the dealmaker. I got a good feeling from him - he's passionate about his work and was willing to work with my budget. He made my husband (who doesn't enjoy posing for pictures) and I feel so comfortable. The whole wedding party was raving about him. When I looked at my pictures, I cried because they were so beautiful and really captured all the emotions of that day. My mother still looks at the photos over and over again and each time she says she wants to drive over to Bharat's house and give him a kiss. I met his wife at a bridal show and even she had that good vibe about her - just good people. I wish him all the success and happiness in the world.

- I was extremely pleased with her! We're under weddings, 2006, Rebecca and Dan. She stayed longer than asked, took more pictures than asked, and the pictures were perfect. She was very good at capturing a moment without you knowing she was there, and I liked her calm, low-key demeanor. I definitely recommend her!

- A+: I LOVE her after seeing our pictures. They are absolutely beautiful. She had me send her a listing of who's who in the wedding party and family, and a list of must take photos. She followed that list to a T and took lots of other amazing shots as well. I didn't even notice her at the ceremony, but she took pictures from every angle.

- I have my proofs and I can't say enough about what a great job Dan did. Dan is an amazing photographer. He did our e-pics and we got so many compliments from friends and family on how beautiful they were. The day of the wedding Dan came early to my house to take getting ready pics. As soon as he walked in he got right to work. He even brought his assistant (Cindy) who I didn't expect. (The more pictures the better!) At the wedding Dan and Cindy were just snapping away. They both did their job without being in anyone's way. I love Dan's work and I can?t wait to see our album! The only thing I have to say is that if you're not opposed to doing pictures before the ceremony, do it! That is the only thing I regret about our day. Family pictures took up so much time that DH and I didn?t get all the shots we wanted to do. If I had known better I would've done all our family pictures before the ceremony. We did go back to Atkinson after we got back from the honeymoon and took all the shots we missed the day of the wedding. I'm so happy that we did that.

- A+: Ok, so I?m kind of obsessed with David. He is amazing. He took over 1400 pics and I love almost every picture. He is unbelievably talented and great to work with. We met with him a few weeks before the wedding and went over the feeling we wanted to capture from our wedding and the must take pics and then we just let him roll with it and he caught everything on film! He?s a little pricey, but this was the one thing we knew we wanted to splurge on and it was so worth it. I don?t know how we're going to pick our favorite pics for the book! We are having a storybook album, which is one of the reasons we went with him because we didn?t want a traditional album. David is well worth the money, by far our most favorite vendor.

- A-: Don is a great photographer. I received my proofs less then 2 weeks after the wedding, and they came out amazing (very classic and beautiful). My grandfather was a professional photographer before he passed away, so I had a hard time finding someone?s style that matched his. Don was a perfect match in that sense. His personality was a little quirky (he is a little older, so maybe it?s a generation thing), but that didn?t matter to me. Don?s prices were cheaper then his daughter (Jane Lydick Staid) and he taught her photography.

We felt like our personalities clicked right away and we loved their work, so we didn't hesitate in booking them at all. The price was a little high, in my opinion, but I was willing to pay, and it was soooooo worth it! Also, they have a payment plan, where we paid in installments, which was great!! He took a million, beautiful pictures and they were posted on the website the night of the wedding! When we returned from our honeymoon, just 10 days after the wedding, the cd with all proofs was waiting in the mailbox!! He is currently working on our albums and we should have them soon! Just wanted to give a quick review and warning regarding Ilana Ben Harav Photography. I got married 5.5 months ago and I still do not have any wedding photos. We originally booked Ilana because she had done my brother's wedding and she did a terrific job. But now I am getting the run around and we still have no pics. I emailed Ilana one month after the wedding and was told they would be ready in 3 months which would be January. On Feb 6th I emailed her asking when they would be ready, since I hadn't heard from her and that 3 month timeframe was up. She replied that they would be ready in 2 weeks, which would have been yesterday. After no word from her I emailed again, and now she requested an additional 2 weeks which would be a couple of days away from my 6 month anniversary. I have seen a few other posts of similar complaints, so it looks like this is becoming more of a trend for her. Just wanted to let you all know and also make sure u have a detail contract for your photographers which states the date you receive your pics. Ilana doesn't do contracts and now we are kicking ourselves for not pushing the issue.

- Not terribly expensive, fantastic photojournalistic photography (NONE of the typical "cookie cutter" shots that most wedding factory photographers do) SHe'll go with you to your locations just before the wedding, to pick spots and do your list of "must have" shots. She took a lot of pictures, which is good because my eyes are constantly closed in pictures. She also worked well with my 3 year old daughter and even let her take a few pics. The reasons that she didn't get a + are she said that all of the pictures should be on her site in a week, and it has been 2 weeks now and not all of them are up. The final thing that didn?t give her a + was that she didn?t give much direction as to who should stand where, etc? during formal shots. Her wedding packages and prices are great though and I would recommend her.

A: We loved Karen. Unobtrusive. She was open to anything. She is a photojournalist, so if you want a lot of traditional, posed pictures, she isn't for you. We did not want to see each other before the ceremony that day. So, Karen was perfectly able to adapt to that and take all of our pictures within about a half an hour to an hour after the ceremony and during the cocktail hour. She was fabulous. - B+: Michael takes great pictures and he's very easy to work with. There were times during the night where he would run full speed across the room to catch a great shot, and he'd do it without getting in the way of any guests or causing any alarm. The reason for the B+ is for the amount of time it takes to get pictures from him. At the wedding, he said I'd have pictures in two and a half weeks. Well, that's come and gone, and now we're talking about three and a half weeks. Considering the number of girls who got married after us and have already posted teasers or slideshows, three and a half weeks seems an awfully long time to wait. Our engagement photos also took longer than he said they originally would.

- A+: Mike was AMAZING. We haven;t gotten most of the pictures back yet, but the samples he's given us so far are great. He showed me some of what he?d been taking that day, too, and they look like they are going to be awesome. He was also just really professional and really easy and comfortable to work with. He knew exactly what shots you are supposed to get but also had a good eye for more unusual shots. He did a lot of photojournalistic type stuff, which was really what we wanted. He was also willing and even excited to do some of the more unusual things we wanted to do, like crawl under an electric fence to take pictures with cows. He made you feel totally comfortable in front of the camera and was really good at giving direction so that you didn?t feel lost. Plus he went above and beyond in the consideration department; my brother (a groomsman) forgot to bring a belt and Mike actually offered him his. My brother didn't end up needing it, but it really was extremely generous and helpful of him to offer. He also puts a lot of time and love into each picture. Not only does he spend the time to actually set up shots and light them right, but he spends time with each picture in post production to make sure every one looks the best it could. And, which I find seems to be hard to come by these days, you get the rights to EVERY picture, so there will never be any expensive fees to get prints made up or copies made later. He?s going to give us a disk with all of them on it and we can do anything we want from there. He even keeps them all on file so if anything goes wrong without copy there?'s always a backup. I?m sure I will only have more great things to say once we get all the pictures in.

- Searching for a photographer was very difficult for us and I don't know what we did to deserve Ed and Rose. We were blown away when we met them and hired them on the spot and they haven't let us down since. Our engagement pictures were so beautiful and captured us so perfectly. They were absolutely wonderful on Saturday, they were a brides dream come true, especially this bride who was so insistent on having a good photographer. Rose even came to our rehearsal dinner the Thursday before. They are a husband and wife team and work so well together and they take unbelievable photos. They got to where I was getting ready at 12 o'clock and stayed until 10 o'clock when the reception ended, they didn't miss a single moment of our day. We are waiting so patiently to get our wedding proofs back! They are amazing people, who happen to be extremely talented.

- I will happily recommend my photographers. They are Ed and Rose Courtney from A Moment Of Light. I paid $3,000 which included an engagement session, rehearsal dinner coverage, a bridal album, etc. I'm not sure what their pricing looks like for '08 and what that includes but they are definitely worth the call.

- It was great having Megan and her assistant Emily with us on our wedding day. I instantly liked her calm demeanor when I met her that that was great to have in the rush of the wedding day. She and Emily were everywhere, but I hardly noticed. The pictures she has posted on her blog (the morning after the wedding) are fabulous! I can't wait to see the rest. She went through all of my requested photos and even asked if we wanted others we hadn't done.

- Another huge rave here. He was amazing, our pictures turned out beautifully, everything we could hope for. He was very easy and fun to work with, our only regret is not having more time to spend taking pictures with him. I chose them because their knowledge and experience really shines through, they care about their clients, and I was blown away by their photography. On the day of, they were on time and started snapping pictures right away. MaryJo helped us with posing for formal portraits, and they were invisible the rest of the time! I had them for 8 hours, which for me ended at 8:30. When 8:30 rolled around, I looked for them to thank them, but they were still right there on the dance floor snapping pictures!

- B+ (pending photos): I haven't seen the photos yet so my rating could go up or down but the reason for the B+ is for a few things I was disappointed in the day of. I was hoping she would take charge more and keep the flow going but often i felt like i was the one trying to keep everything together. Also there were a few pics that we missed (had wanted some pics outside at night that she was supposed to grab us for and never did). Also I felt like they didn't "pose" me enough...there are some pics where i felt like my dress should have been displayed better. The up side was that we paid for 2 photogs and actually got 3 the day of so we should have tons of pics.

- A+ (based on day of and slideshow): Scott was so much fun to work with! He was so laid back and just made all of us feel comfortable and at ease the whole day. He totally clicked with my family, and my whole wedding party couldn't stop telling me how much they loved working with him. One of the things that my husband noted was that unlike some other photographers he's seen, Scott really knew how to get people together for shots without making us feel like he was herding us. It just felt so natural! And he really knew how to get everyone smiling. He also has an amazing eye and took some wonderful shots. He made sure to get all of our must take photos, and he came up with must take photos that I never would've even thought of (he even came early to check out the place for good shots). When we weren't doing formals, I hardly noticed his presence, but when I looked around for him to tell him I wanted a picture taken, he was already two steps ahead of me. Best of all, he even stayed later after the reception to get the nighttime bridge/Boston skyline pictures we wanted (the party was going so strong he didn?t want to interrupt us to go out there during the reception). We just got our slideshow and I am in love with it! I can't stop watching it -- I can't wait to see the rest of our photos, which I'm sure will be just as beautiful.

- Overall, we are pleased with the photographs from Sun Photographics. We were excited to hire Sun Photographics not only because they take great photojournalistic-style photographs but also because they have worked at the Fruitlands before and know exactly the best places to stand for photos. For the day of our wedding we worked with Jim Sun and a second photographer (Amy, I think). Both of the photographers were extremely nice and easy to work with. Plus, Jim was great at getting our portraits after the ceremony done quickly. In fact, we even had time to enjoy our cocktail hour! Another benefit was that we barely even noticed that the photographers were there, so they were not at all intrusive. The only down-side was that there were not as many close photos of the ceremony as we would have liked.

- A-: Tom is such a creative and talented photographer and I cannot wait to see our pictures. The day of the wedding, he was very professional and knew just what he had to shoot. He even went to my house where the guys were getting ready, at my request, to get pictures of the guys. He showed us some of the pictures that he took (digital) and they looked so good through his camera, that I can't wait to see what they look like larger. He was very nice, professioanl, and creative. The reason I gave an A- is because I do think that his prices are high for what you get. It was not all night coverage and you need to pay an adiitional amount to get the DVD with all of the images. I think for what we paid, that should be included.
