- A+: He was also very nice and pleasant to work with.. And wow is he organized.. He was on top of us to turn in our vows and he basically let us decide what would be said in the entire ceremony.. We kept it to 10 minutes long for the whole thing! Our guests said it was the best ceremony they have ever been to.. Short, Sweet and to the point..

- Anna called me the wednesday before the wedding from the Hospital. She was extremely sick and needed to give us a replacement for our ceremony. We understood but were heart broken. Anna wrote our ceremony herself and really got to know us. The replacement that she sent was just okay. Our ceremony was beautiful, but we still really wish that it was performed by Anna. There is nothing you can do if one of your vendors gets really sick and can't come, but we were just bummed.

- Nancy Wurlitzer was great and helped us customize the ceremony to exactly how we wanted it to be. She sent us a bunch of past ceremonies and we were able to select pieces and add our own ideas to make it perfect. So many of our guests said it was the most romantic ceremony they have ever been too and that couldn?t have happended without Nancy. She was also very good on email which was important to me as an OOT bride.

- I did a LOT of research on JPs when we found JP, Carol Merletti of Malden. She is awesome. We found a lot of good JPs, but she just stood out to us because of her honesty. We love her.

- We had an interfaith wedding and Christine specializes in these weddings. She worked with us to write our own ceremony and very accommodating. She was well-spoken and very sweet. We couldn't have asked for any better.

- A+: Daniel did such an amazing job, especially considering that he just met me two days before the wedding. After hearing what happened with Gerry [Clements], Daniel was immediately caring and concerned about me being calm on my day. He came over to meet me that same night. He only charged us half his normal $250 price (pending the outcome of my refund from Gerry). We came up with almost an entirely new ceremony on Wednesday night, he was there for the rehearsal on Thursday, and did a great job on Friday for the wedding. He pronounced every name perfect, and his voice was loud and clear. I got compliments all night on how great he was (and no one even knew that I just met/hired him 2 days before). I highly recommend Daniel!
- A+: I loved, loved, loved working with Dan. He's so sweet and easy going and he made the ceremony so meaningful and special. Truly someone who loves what he does.

- Fr. Don was our marching band chaplain in college (BC), and I worked with him for years in campus ministry. It was awesome to have an officiant who knew us both so well performing our ceremony. We wouldn't have wanted anyone else!

Edi Pasalis

Reviews:
- A+: Edi was absolutely amazing, we couldn't have been happier. If you are looking to incorporate more alternative aspects into your ceremony, Edi is definitely for you. She helped us create an incredibly personal and meaningful ceremony. It included things like a hand-binding ritual but she was able to make it into a recognizable wedding ceremony that did not alienate even my most conservative Italian relatives. Even the process of creating the ceremony with Edi was a great experience. She is a lovely, joyful person who is just fun to work with and who seems to really care about each of her couples. We also went through the Prepare/Enrich program with her, which is sort of like pre-marital counseling. It gave us the opportunity to talk about our strengths and growth areas and gave us some tools to be stronger as a couple. It was all done in a very open and non-judgmental way. To top it all off, she is a great person to have with you on your wedding day. The coordinators at our ceremony site were not very attentive, and at both the rehearsal and the wedding they left me feeling like I didn?t know what was supposed to be happening. Edi told me to stay calm and she made sure everything was going as it should. She was a very calming and centering presence throughout the day and really helped keep us focused on each other and our ceremony, like we really should be. Edi?s services are more expensive than if you were to go with a church or a justice of the peace, but she is worth every penny.

- A+: He is the sweetest, funniest, nicest man and I am sooo glad we picked him to officiate our marriage! He is an ordained minister so he was able to put a religious twist into our non-religious ceremony. He made it completely personal and it was the most beautiful ceremony I had ever been to, although I may be a little bit bias, wink wink. He also married DH's brother and his wife so that is how we originally chose him and I would reccommed him to anyone. In my opinion, his price is a little high, but very worth it in the long run.

- A+: Leo was GREAT! Very professional, yet funny during the ceremony. He even saved my butt when we had a bit of a problem with the ceremony music (it never made it) but because he is also a part time DJ he had an extra version of the wedding march in his car. HE SAVED THE DAY!!!
Rabbi Leslie Tannenwald
Location: MassachusettsWebsite: http://hometown.aol.com/rabbiles18/
Reviews:
- Rabbi Tannenwald is both a Rabbi and a justice of the peace, which is why we choose her to perform our ceremony. My husband and I wanted a JP, but my parents preferred a Rabbi. We found someone who was both. We requested that the religious part of the ceremony be kept to a minimum. For the most part, the Rabbi respected our wishes, although she did translate some of the Hebrew when we had asked her not to do so. I do not belong to the Rabbi?s synagogue, so we did not know her at all, and I think that showed in our ceremony. It was not that important to me, but it might be for other people.
Jayant Sane (Hindu ceremony)

Reviews:
- A+: Dr. Sane was amazing. He explained all of the Hindu traditions in English and was extremely organized. We love him and he did a fantastic job.
- An awesome officiant. He explained things really well during our planning meetings to us and our parents, and did a great job explaining during the ceremony and translating the Sanskrit to English. A lot of our non-Hindu guests said they thought the ceremony was so beautiful and so touching. So many couples have said that he works really well with interfaith and intercultural couples too. He has done weddings for many of our friends and everyone has been so happy with him.

Married Life Ministries

- (Bishop Gerald Clements) D-: Gerry is a former catholic priest who got married so he was no longer affiliated with the Catholic church. I chose him because he would marry me outdoors and the ceremony would still have a religious feel to it. My husband and I had been meeting with him every couple of months for a year. The very first meeting we had, Gerry forgot about the meeting and wasn?t prepared when we got there. When it was still about 9 months until our wedding Gerry lost his 9-5 job and asked that we pay him in full. BTW his cost is $400, and we had already paid a deposit of $200. My first instinct was not to pay early, but I ended up doing it because I thought if you can?t trust a priest, who can you trust. The next couple of meetings we had with Gerry were postponed, but only after I would email him a day before to confirm (I did this for every meeting since he wasn?t ready the first time). One time he even didn?t realize he had a wedding for the time we were supposed to meet (or so he said). Eventually we did meet again, and we finalized our ceremony. Two days before the wedding I call him to confirm the rehearsal for Thursday and the wedding for Friday. He emailed me back (didn?t even call, what if I never checked my email) and told me he didn?t realize he was teaching a class in business ethics and religion and wouldn't be able to make it to the rehearsal. I started to cry when I read the email because I was really wondering if he was going to show up to the wedding. I checked my email and confirmed that back in Feb. Gerry said he would be at the rehearsal (we had scheduled it around what worked for him). Also, I week before I sent a cute email poem/invitation to the rehearsal dinner he was on, and he never responded about a conflict. I called Searles Castle (because they had given me his business card) and they were awesome about finding me a replacement. I ended up getting married by Daniel Griffiths who was amazing (see review below). I?m still working on getting my money back from Gerry Clements, but that isn?t going well. He never provided the service he agreed upon (being at the rehearsal), and I never gave him the opportunity to do the wedding so this may end up going to civil court (there was no contract).

A+: It's a long story, but we didn?t meet Father Steele until a week before the wedding. He did us a huge favor by agreeing to marry us so last minute. All the anxiety of finding a priest was worth finding Father Steele- he made our ceremony so memorable for us. We were very lucky.

- A+: Tom was amazing! Our ceremony was so beautiful, and everyone commented on how much they loved Tom. Everything he said was perfect, and he totally made Matt and I feel at ease. I am so happy that we had Tom officiate our wedding. He was great to work with and so helpful in planning out our ceremony. He was so quick to respond to e-mails, and he even helped with my last-minute (ie. two days before the wedding) program questions. He's super nice and just a really great guy. I couldn?t be happier with how our ceremony turned out. It was perfect!

- A+: Victoria was an absolute JOY to work with and made our ceremony so very special and unique. It was one of the best parts of the whole day and all our guests are still talking about it! She took the time to get to know my FI and I and wrote a ceremony specifically about how we met, fell in love, etc. It was truly inspirational and unlike any other - making us laugh and cry! At the end she left us a copy of the entire ceremony for us to enjoy for many years. I would highly, highly recommend her!

- I got the recommendation for Bill at the Knot. He was great to work with. He customized our ceremony which made it more special. The only thing was that at one point during the ceremony he called me Abby, and my name is Becky. Not sure how he came up with that, but it had the whole wedding party cracking up. He did apologize to me after saying it. It wasn’t a big deal to me, and it sure made people laugh.
