- Beautiful! It was so cozy and intimate. It made everyone feel so comfortable. My friend got to ring the bell for what seemed like forever and that made him happy too. This was one of the easiest vendors to deal with. I didn’t have many interactions or any problems with the caretaker. She did a great job and I changed my rehearsal last minute without a problem.

- B: It is sad to say that everything about the church and everyone we worked with were wonderful until the day of the wedding. The priest that married us was a genuine sweet man who had got to know the both of us on a personal level which made the ceremony that much more special. Now the coordinator at the church was also great and ran a great rehearsal BUT come the day of the wedding it was a completely different story. There were things that occured on the day of the wedding, but luckily they did not effect our ceremony and that is all that mattered to me.

- (On the beach behind hotel) A: The Inn Keeper Brad was wonderful; my Dad ended up staying here for the week and was very pleased. It was a private beach area and we were allowed to set up however we pleased.

- Reverend Evrol Officer: A / Organist Fritz Weingartner: B+
The church is located at the Longwood T Stop next to Ballroom Veronique, thus a lot of Ballroom Veronique brides marry here. Reverend Officer is very laid back and welcoming. The price to rent the church includes your rehearsal time and a few counseling sessions. We moved to Richmond VA before we got married and Rev Officer was very accommodating about scheduling appointments. He sent us several sample ceremonies and we pieced together what we wanted. DH was raised Southern Baptist and I guess I would consider myself a Protestant. We were both extremely pleased with the ceremony. Fritz got a B+ because while he played everything we wanted and it sounded beautiful and it was timely, he practiced and got the organ tuned/ready while our guests were in the church.

Kelley Chapel

? I fell in love with this place the moment I walked in, it reminded me of the chapel where JFK Jr. got married. It?s small, if fit our 59 people + 2 photographers, videographer and guitarist but I'm not sure it could fit more. If you?re having a small wedding and don't need to have it in a church I would recommend Kelley chapel.

- A: Nothing could top the location of our wedding. It was a perfect day and it absolutely gorgeous. We got the park for 2 hours with free parking for all our guests, and we had someone on site for the ceremony to direct people where to go. The only reason I didn't give an A+ is because the on-site coordinator called me the morning of the wedding to go over a bunch of details- not what I needed the morning of my wedding, she should have called me beforehand if she needed anything from me.
Martha Mary Chapel at the Wayside Inn
Location: Sudbury, MAWebsite: http://www.wayside.org/

- Cozy little chapel, historic, holds 150 people. It gets HOT in the summer, and the A/C has to be off during the ceremony so you can hear. Pros: Beautiful, intimate and historical, plus the added bonus of having the grist mill across the street for pictures. Cons: Sudbury is not very close to anywhere, and very hard to get to for out of town guests. Because of demand, the location can have up to 4 weddings happening a day, so you have to time you and your guests arrivals carefully, to not interrupt other ceremonies.Still totally worth it.
Notre Dame Church

- Notre Dame is absolutely gorgeous. The organ alone makes it incredible, a hand-crafted 1890s pipe organ from France on>. We had some minor troubles with the office there, including needing to work out how they were paying the organist, and losing our paperwork about a month before the wedding. All were easily resolved, though, and it was wonderful to be married in a place that meant so much to Brian's family that was so beautiful on top of that!

- A+: This is such a gorgeous, classic looking church. They were excellent to work with and the wedding was incredible! We did our Pre-Cana through Our Lady's and got one-on-one attention. Sr. Marian did the rehearsal so thoroughly, we were amazed. Fr. Walter Cuenin and Fr. Bill Schmidt (of St. Patrick's Stoneham - DH's priest) presided and it was perfect. Adding to the beautiful ceremony was a song by my Dad and MOH's husband. Not a dry eye in the house! We ran a bit long and the pastor was really understanding as 4pm Mass goers were filing in during our pictures :) We had music by their organist, Kathy, who was fabulous, and our cantor was Anne from St. Patricks, also amazing!
Searles School and Chapel

- A: The only reasons we chose this location are because of the price, size, and location. I do not like the look of it at all. I wasn?t too fond of the woman who does all of the bookings either. They are very strict that you only get one hour for rehearsal too. It was annoying at how strict they are with it. I did have people tell me that it was beautiful, but it really is not my style at all. We used the organist and chime guy that they use most of the time, and they were both very good and friendly.

- A+: It's our regular church, so we knew basically how things would go. I was so impressed with the ceremony musicians (Nancy and Juanita). They really helped me in choosing the music and making everything go smoothly. Our priest, Fr. Damien, was amazing and people said they would go back to church if he was the one presiding.

- A+: I cannot say enough wonderful things about Father Bob. I have never heard people compliment a ceremony as much as they did. We obviously chose the readings and music, but the priest wrote the most beautiful homily that was so personal to Jason and I. He really made us feel like it was important to him that we were there that day. He was also so wonderful to work with while planning. I called numerous times to ask questions and he always got right back to me. He was also incredibly flexible with the time that we got married and being the one to do our service, where the Deacon usually does the service when both bride and groom are not Catholic. He understood that I wanted him to marry us and he adjusted that little rule. He is very down to earth and made us feel comfortable to be ourselves. It was such a positive experience all the way around.

- Though we had some difficulty at first convincing the pastor there to let us have the ceremony at 2pm....all was fine the day of the wedding. Father Ray was a stickler when it came down to a few things. There is a 4pm Mass every Saturday at the church. Our ceremony started at 2pm and ended at 2:35. However, we were told we could not have a receiving line and we could not take any pictures after the ceremony inside the church. This was due to the fact that some parishoners who frequent the 4pm Mass (my grandmother included) may not be able to get to church early. Again, all worked out for us. Despite the request for no receiving lines- we still had one on the sidewalk. :)
St. Mary's

- A+: Not that people really choose their churches based on looks or staff but those that are getting married there can rest up knowing that things will go as planned. The coordinator did a great job organizing everyone, rehearsal was quick and easy and the ceremony was great. Father Bill messed up one little thing during the ceremony but it's because it wasn't very traditional so whatever. I doubt anyone but me actually noticed. Jonathan Girard (organist) was excellent. He met with us personally and played a few pieces to help us select what we wanted for our ceremony.
St. Stephen's Church, Hanover St.
Location: Boston, MAPhone Number: (need contact info)

- Father Pat was fantastic! He really was exceptional and I thoroughly enjoyed our mass. However, we did have some problems with the organist- who thought we were going to pay her $300 for a consultation. (Ultimately we decided on a string quartet instead.) And, because St. Stephen's is considered a chapel and not a church, all paperwork has to go through St. Leonard's, which can get a bit onerous. Lastly, the fees can also be a bit burdensome- St. Stephen's charges $600, St. Leonard's charges $100 just for the paperwork, and you're also expected to give a "donation" to the priest and also leave some flowers. All in all, I LOVE the Chuch and would toatally have our ceremony there all over again in a heartbeat!
