- ABC doesn't get much play on this Board and I can't understand why. We only heard about them b/c they were a preferred vendor at the Old State House, but I definitely recommend checking them out. The food was great! Got a lot of complements on it and their staff was great as well. One of the servers even spoke italian back and forth with my grandmother, which she loved! The presentation of the food was also done very carefully and I felt like Tim, the event manager, genuinely wanted us to have a great night. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND ABC!

- I have used them 2x before for parties and they came through again. Debbie and Jodi are the 2 women who coordinated everything for me. The food was incredible, the station décor unique and creative and the staff was great. They took such a load off of me with everything. They really are what I would consider a full service caterer, handling anything that I asked of them. They were so experienced and went the extra mile in every way. This was the biggest rave from the guests, how smooth everything went and how attentive the staff were to all of the guests, not just the VIPS (if you will).

- We used Creative based on a friend's referral and we were so happy we chose them! Everything ran sooooo smoothly. Dinner was served so efficiently that we were ahead of the schedule they had created. The food was also amazing. I had the beef tenderloin (yes I actually ate at my wedding) and it was one of the best pieces of meat I have ever had. I highly recommend them.

- A-: Perfect! The food was amazing, just incredible. They were the first tasting that I had gone to and I knew then (after trying the squash ravioli) that I had to use them. The only reason for the minus is the exact same reason as the Elks; the person I had worked with from the beginning was not there on the day of and never called to tell me it would be someone different. But other then that minor issue it was perfect. Everyone I talked to that night had nothing but praise for the food, and every time I have spoken to someone since has not stopped talking about the food. I did eat that night and I thought the Filet was so tender, not dry, not over cooked, it was just right. And of course the Butternut squash Ravioli were to die for (IMO). I would use them again and I would highly suggest them to anyone.

- C: Our first coordinator, Carolyn, was nice enough, but was terrible about returning calls/emails and even the simplest tasks weren't done (we changed from salmon to swordfish - it took 4 reminders and 2 copies of our event order to get it changed for good). Anyway, we met with Gary a month before the wedding and I decided to coordinate with him from then on thinking it would be easier. Not so much. He is just as bad with email, and seems stretched way too thin. The day of the wedding went off without a hitch, though. The food is good, but for the mental anguish they caused - I would not recommend them.

- A+: Another fabulous vendor. Karen was my coordinator and she was so easy to to work with. Very accomodating, and patient and so good about my 15 billion questions and changes. The food was DELICIOUS. Again got raves all night about the food (we had Filet, Baked Haddock & Butternut Squash Ravioli). The waitstaff was great as well! One thing I loved was that they wouldn't serve our table until Dan and I sat down.....which was great cause it made us eat and I wouldn't have wanted to miss it!

- 9.5: I met the event coordinator, Nina, at the Milton Hoosic Club Open House. I loved what they had to offer, so we met with them and basically booked them right away. Nina had a number of (great) ideas to help plan the vision for the day (they provided all the linens, flatware, place settings, etc in addition to the food). She was able to set up a private tasting for us since we were moving to Chicago and wanted to take care of that before the move. We had already planned the menu, so she served us everything that we had selected ? all the appetizers, the soup, salad, and both entrées! The food was absolutely delicious, and on the day of the wedding it was even better than I remembered it. They also had a server dedicated to the bride and groom, making sure we were served first and replenishing our beverages as needed. I demoted the rating to a 9.5 because Nina left to spend more time with her children and I had some trouble communicating with the coordinator that replaced her. The company itself and the food are wonderful!

- Very reasonably priced Italian-American style food (we had a buffet service). We had some very minor issues with the staff as far as changing the dinner time and moving our sweetheart table... but it all worked out in the end, and most importantly, our guests raved about the food. In particular, they could hardly keep the assorted pastries on the table, people were scarfing them down so fast!

- C: Up to the day of my wedding, Green Olive would have gotten an A+. Our event manager was so attentive and patient, even though I changed the menu several times. And the food was very good. So I'm not sure what went wrong on the day of - but there were a few flaws that continue to upset me. 1) Our reception was a cocktail reception which was to start with lots of passed hors d'oeuvres. They only put 6 pieces of each hors d'oeuvre on each plate (they were passing on dinner plates, not even platters). So the servers could only make it to a few people with each plate, and not many guests actually even saw any passed food (the servers never made it to the guests outside or in other rooms of the estate because they kept running out of food and having to go back to the kitchen). 2) They didn't get champagne to a lot of the guests in time for the champagne toast. Only about 1/2 the guests were able to toast with champagne and my mom had to go seek out a glass of bubbly for herself. 3) After passed hors d'oeuvres, there was a stationary table of appetizers set up in a back room. The servers were supposed to notify guests that additional food was there - but many guests found the food on accident, and some never even knew it was there. None of my guests that I've spoken to were told about the food. 4) The cake was supposed to be passed in slices. Instead, it was also put in the same back room as the aforementioned food and again, a lot of my guests never knew it was there. I'm wondering how much of my cake was thrown out.

- A: The food was wonderful!! Everyone commented on it! They even set up the entire place for us (centerpieces, favors, candy buffet, everything). My issue was the the kids under 6 were supposed to be free but last minute he ended up charging us 1/2 price because we had so many kids. Also they wait until after the last course to take the cake away so there was lots of uneaten cake because people were mingling and not at their tables.

- The food was delicious and the presentation was amazing. Guests were raving about the appetizers like boursin stuffed orchids, lollipop lamb chops with mustard glaze, and thai coconut shrimp. Entrees were hearty, large portions yet artfully presented on the plate. We had our cake made by them as well and it was amazing! Elegant and classic just like we requested. The cake flavors were delicious as well. Michelle Lane, their event coordinator, was very helpful throughout the entire planning process and made sure the food was just right. She even made sure the groom and I received a tray of appetizers while we were taking pictures during cocktail hour.

- A+: Sameer was wonderful to work with. At our tasting he helped us pick a great menu for the garba, and a great entree selection for the reception. He also worked closely with the catering and chefs at the sonesta to make sure everything was prepared and served correctly. The indian food was a huge hit, and we were so happy that our guests were able to have a choice of Indian or American food during our wedding weekend!

- (Ray & Johanna) A+: Vinwood hasn't had one rant/bad review on this board in the year that I have been reading it. They are fabulous. They will make ANYTHING you want. We had heavy hors d'ouevres, a raw bar, roast beef and pulled pork stations, antipasto/cheese/fruit displays, and a great dessert spread. Their staff was everywhere. My guests were well taken care of and could not believe the amount of food we had. It was a foodie bonanza. I wish I had gotten to eat more but I didn't have a lot of time and I wasn't that hungry. However, anything the Bridal Party requested was found. Trays of mini lobster rolls came out to me & friends, and to my mom after our pictures were done. Close to the end of the night they produced another whole tray of lemon sorbet because I could NOT stop eating it. My DH and friends RAVED about how great everything was, and how polite and attentive the staff was. My sister got roast beef as they were closing down the station and they were as gracious to her as they were their first guest. DELICIOUS. Ray and Johanna strive to cover every single detail and they nailed it. I want to have another party so they can cater.

- A+: We worked with Kim who does not usually do their weddings (she's corporate) and I couldnt have asked for a better person. she even did a second tasting for my mom when she was in town 2 months before the wedding. the staff during the event was awesome, we always had full glasses of wine and water, actually got to eat our delicious food, and the bartenders kept the line moving.
