About the Site

This resource site was started by a Boston knottie (kept annonymous to protect the innocent) as a way to give local brides a place to turn to for honest reviews while planning their weddings. Often times, venues and other wedding websites will feature "Preferred Vendors", who often times are not necessarily preferred -- they just buy the advertisement space in the venues' brochures and on their websites. This knottie was pleased to find that on TheKnot wedding boards the members would often leave vendor reviews, giving one the oppurtunity to weave through the good and bad. But, after a week or so, posts are deleted out of sight from TheKnot, and are often not very organized. This website gives a way to organize all the reviews and make it easier for stressed brides to find them while choosing who to meet and book with.

The brides who review do so in an honest manner. I often find these reviews either in my inbox, on TheKnot, WeddingBee, the Boston Globe boards, or many other places around the internet. None of the vendors who are reviewed on this site pay to be reviewed. And, in turn, we also allow negative reviews, as I believe that it is important to warn brides before they end up booking someone sketchy for the most expensive and important day of their life!

Feel free to adverise us to all your friends and family! The more this site grows, the more helpful it will be to current and future brides! I'm also always open to suggestions as to how to improve the website, and features to add. And, of course, new reviews are always welcome!
